About John Partilla

John Partilla, CEO of Screenvision, is a veteran of the marketing industry with nearly three decades of experience in a variety of roles.

After graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, John Partilla earned an MBA from Columbia Business School. He first began his career in 1986  with the international marketing and communications firm, Young & Rubicam.

John Partilla filled a number of roles and worked on many of the company’s core accounts during his eighteen years at Y&R. Eventually, he rose to Managing Partner and Executive Vice President. In 2000 he founded Brand Buzz, a division of Young & Rubicam, that focused on developing clients’ digital brands.

John PartillaJohn Partilla transitioned to the media sector joining Time Warner in 2004 as the president of the company’s Global Media Group.  In this capacity, he headed the efforts to grow the marketing revenue across Time Warner’s various businesses through a focus on audience selling, driven by customized creativity, and bespoke digital experiences for client and advertising partners.

John Partilla served as the President of Global Media Sales at Clear Channel Communications from 2009 to the beginning of 2011. Under his leadership, the organization further strengthened  its radio and outdoor business  performance and growth across the United States.  Given his successful efforts,  John Partilla was selected as one of the Leading Media Players of the 2010 by Mediaweek, a leading industry trade publication. Other top ten notables of Mediaweek’s 2010 list included Arianna Huffington, and Sheryl Sandberg.

John was then brought on as the COO of Dentsu Network West at the beginning of 2011. He was responsible for establishing the architecture of newly created network, heading the integration between agencies, as well as leading business development across its 13 offices and 1,400 + employees.  During his tenure as Chief Operating Officer, Dentsu Network West was elected the sixth most innovative company in advertising in the world by Fast Company in 2012.

John Partilla went on join the Olson group as the company’s CEO. There he was responsible for overseeing the innovative agency’s 500+ employees. He effectively led Olson for two years as the organization’s top and bottom line grew by 20% during his tenure. ICF acquired the Olson Group in the fourth quarter of 2014. At ICF, he headed the Digital Services Group, a 1000+ person agency that specializes in digital transformation and offers a unique set of service and solutions.

John Partilla is a native of the New York area, having grown up on Long Island. A long-time resident, he truly appreciates all that New York City has to offer.
